You must be at least 18 years old to create a Kit Account.

Creating a Kit Account will take around 5 minutes. You will need a few things to get
started:

1. Download the Kit App from your relevant app store. Can't find our app?
2. Have ready your:
   1. Australian mobile phone number
   2. The BSB and account number for a transactional account in your name
      (the account must allow direct debits)
   3. Your physical passport (overseas or Australian) or Australian driver licence (digital IDs cannot be accepted)
   4. Your kid – to choose their card colour and set their card PIN and
      Access Code
3. Follow the prompts in the app to create your account.

Ensure that the account you are linking to allows direct debit. If not, you will need to
use another account. Do I have to link a bank account to use Kit?

You will need to be eligible to the CommBank Yello program to continue getting free Kit membership. Otherwise, when your promo code expires, you’ll be moved to a monthly membership plan.
